Community Health Track

An innovative approach to learning about issues pertinent to the practice of medicine and addressing issues of population health in underserved communities. The Community Health Track is designed to educate and expose medical students to the field of community medicine and is intended and created for medical students who plan to work in underserved regions.

 

Community Health Track

The Community Health Track (CHT) is an innovative approach to learning about issues pertinent to the practice of medicine and addressing issues of population health in underserved communities. There is a strong emphasis on critical thinking, problem solving, evidence based clinical practice, and case-based and service-based learning. The course will eventually utilize both on-site and distance delivery teaching methods.

Year 2
